Climate
Guam's climate is warm throughout the year as it is 900 miles north of the equator. However, prevailing northeast trade winds make the climate quite pleasant. Guam's climate is characterized by two seasons: dry and wet. The dry season extends from January to June while the wet season extends from July to December. Guam also experiences occasional tropical storms and typhoons as they sweep across the western Pacific. The infrastructure of the island, however, is quite conducive to weathering such natural phenomenon. The island's temperature ranges from about 70 degrees F. to about 91 degrees, with an average of 82 degrees. The island's average annual rainfall ranges from 85 to 100 inches.
